BYMA Corporate Governance Panel incorporates a new member: Grupo Supervielle

October 15, 2019. BUENO AIRES, Argentina.

Grupo Supervielle will be a member of BYMA´s dedicated trading segment that includes stocks of listed companies who voluntarily adhere to corporate governance and transparency-related practices additional to the ones required by the Argentine legislation.

BYMA Corporate Governance Panel incorporates a new member to the Panel: Grupo Supervielle.

Companies’ adherence is voluntary and implies the fulfillment of a set of requirements aligned with Corporate Governance principles of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), adopted by the G20. Some of this principles include the compliance of gender diversity within the company´s Board of Directors, having a Nominations and Remunerations Committee in place, and a Remuneration Policy, a Nominations Policy, a Dividend Distribution Policy and Integrity Programs in place, among others.

Additionally to Grupo Supervielle, BYMA Corporate Governance Panel is currently integrated by BYMA, Pampa Energía and YPF, while other companies are expected to be listed soon.

As regards listing procedures, our Corporate Governance Panel has two different levels: the +GC level, integrated by BYMA, Pampa Energía and YPF, and the GC level, integrated by Grupo Supervielle. The difference is that +GC includes companies with one share one vote common shares while GC allows the listing of companies with either common but multiple votes per share or preferred shares.

In this sense, Ernesto Allaria, BYMA´s Chairman, said: “We are absolutely committed to comply with best practices on Corporate Governance, since they foster sustainable growth for companies and for their shareholders.”
